1 Introduction & Acceptance
1.1 About Astrix
Astrix is a pre-release beta version of a computer-powered assessment tool provided by Astrix2u. Astrix is delivered as a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) for testing and evaluation purposes only.
Important: Astrix is NOT:
- • An artificial intelligence (AI) system using machine learning or adaptive algorithms
- • A substitute for professional advice (legal, medical, financial, technical, or otherwise)
- • A production-ready or commercially released service
- • Guaranteed to be accurate, complete, reliable, or fit for any particular purpose
1.2 Agreement to Terms
By accessing, registering for, or using Astrix ("Service"), you ("User," "you," "your") agree to be legally bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree to these Terms, you must immediately stop using the Service.
1.3 Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into binding contracts in your jurisdiction to use the Service.
1.4 Geographic Availability
The Service is currently available only in select regions. By using the Service, you confirm that you are accessing it from one of the following Covered Countries:
If you are located outside these regions, access to the application may be restricted. You may join our waitlist to be notified when we expand to your region. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may cause.
Registered users traveling outside Covered Countries may retain access to their accounts during their travel period.
1.5 Beta Nature & Modifications
CRITICAL: As beta software, Astrix:
- • May contain bugs, errors, incomplete features, and stability issues
- • May be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice
- • May experience data loss, corruption, or deletion
- • Is provided without any obligation to provide support, updates, or future versions
- • One-time welcome credits may be forfeited if you delete and re-register, create multiple accounts, or violate these Terms
2 License Grant & Restrictions
2.1 Limited License
Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to access and use the Service solely for personal or internal business evaluation and testing purposes during the beta period.
2.2 Restrictions
You may NOT:
- ❌ Use Astrix for production, commercial, or mission-critical purposes
- ❌ Use Astrix with live data or in environments where errors could cause harm
- ❌ Rely on outputs for legal, medical, financial, or safety-critical decisions without independent verification
- ❌ Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or derive the source code
- ❌ Copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, or sublicense the Service
- ❌ Use automated systems (bots, scrapers) without written permission
- ❌ Upload unlawful, infringing, defamatory, or malicious content
- ❌ Interfere with or disrupt the Service's operation or security
- ❌ Create multiple accounts or abuse Welcome Credits
- ❌ Share, sell, or transfer your account or Credits to third parties
2.3 Monitoring, Enforcement & Security
2.3.1 Monitoring Rights
To protect the Service and prevent fraud, we reserve the right to:
- • Monitor and analyze user activity, including Inputs, Outputs, and access patterns
- • Scan Inputs for malicious content or policy violations
- • Track usage patterns to detect abuse of Welcome Credits or automated access
- • Review account behavior to identify security threats
2.3.3 Immediate Suspension Rights
If we detect or reasonably suspect fraud, abuse, policy violations, security threats, or chargeback abuse, we may immediately suspend or terminate your account without prior notice, forfeit all credits, and pursue legal remedies.
2.3.4 Appeals Process
If you believe your account was suspended in error, contact us at https://astrix2u.com/contact with your account details and explanation. We will review appeals within 14 business days.
3 User Account & Responsibilities
3.1 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials, all activity occurring under your account, and notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use.
3.2 User Inputs & Warranties
You represent and warrant that:
- (a) All information you provide is accurate, complete, and lawful
- (b) You own or have all necessary rights to provide Input
- (c) Your Input does not infringe any third-party rights
- (d) You will not provide confidential or sensitive data unless necessary
- (e) Assessment quality depends entirely on Input accuracy
WARNING:
Do not input confidential client data, trade secrets, regulated personal data (health, financial), or information you are not authorized to disclose.
3.3 Credits, Payments & Refund Policy
3.3.1 Types of Credits

- • One-time only (first registration)
- • Non-transferable
- • Non-refundable
- • Subject to expiration
Purchased Credits
- • Purchased with real money
- • Non-refundable
- • Expire based on amount
- • Processed immediately

Credit Expiry Notifications
For packages with 33-100 day validity, we will send you a friendly reminder email 3 days before your credits expire. This notification includes:
- • Your remaining credit balance
- • The exact expiry date
- • A link to use your credits before they expire
Note: Welcome credits (7-day validity) do not receive expiry notifications as they are free bonuses.
NO REFUND POLICY – STRICTLY ENFORCED
ALL CREDIT PURCHASES ARE FINAL AND STRICTLY NON-REFUNDABLE FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING:
- ❌ Change of mind or buyer's remorse
- ❌ Failure to use credits before expiration
- ❌ Dissatisfaction with Service quality or assessment outputs
- ❌ Technical issues, bugs, or Service unavailability (beta limitations)
- ❌ Account suspension or termination for policy violations
- ❌ Discontinuation of the Service by Astrix2u
- ❌ Accidental purchase or wrong credit package selected
- ❌ Misunderstanding of credit expiration policy
Exceptions (Sole Discretion)
Refunds may be considered ONLY for: payment processing errors (double charge), credits not delivered within 24 hours, or fraudulent transactions. Contact us within 7 days of purchase.
Chargeback & Dispute Prohibition
Filing an unauthorized chargeback is a material breach resulting in immediate account termination, credit forfeiture, permanent ban, and potential legal action.
3.5 Business Reseller Program
Business Account Features
Business accounts may purchase credits at wholesale pricing and resell to their sub-accounts (team members, clients, or subsidiaries) at retail pricing.
3.5.1 Reseller Responsibilities
As a Business reseller, you agree to:
- (a) Manage your sub-accounts responsibly and ensure compliance with these Terms
- (b) Be liable for all activity conducted by your sub-accounts
- (c) Not misrepresent the Service capabilities to your sub-accounts
- (d) Maintain accurate records of credit distributions
- (e) Report any suspected fraud or abuse by sub-accounts
3.5.2 Fiscal Periods & Revenue Recognition
For accounting and reporting purposes, Astrix2u uses the following fiscal period structure:
- Fiscal Month: 21st of the previous month to 20th of the current month
- Example: "Feb 2026" covers 21 January 2026 – 20 February 2026
- Fiscal Year: Begins 21 January each calendar year
Revenue from credit sales is recognized on the date of approval, aligned with corporate finance standards.
Important Limitations
- • Business accounts cannot transfer purchased credits back to Astrix2u
- • Sub-account credits are subject to the same expiration policies
- • Reseller margin is the responsibility of the Business account holder
- • Astrix2u reserves the right to modify wholesale pricing with 30 days notice
3.6 Telegram Bot Service
Telegram Bot Access (@Astrix2u_bot)
Pro package users may access Astrix analysis features through our official Telegram bot. This service extends the web application experience to the Telegram messaging platform.
3.6.1 Eligibility & Account Linking
To use the Telegram Bot Service, you must:
- (a) Have an active Astrix account with Pro package or higher
- (b) Link your Telegram account to your Astrix account via the web application
- (c) Maintain sufficient credit balance for analysis operations
- (d) Comply with Telegram's Terms of Service and Community Guidelines
3.6.2 Features & Functionality
The Telegram Bot provides the following features:
- • Name Analysis: Analyze individual names or name combinations
- • Comparison Mode: Compare multiple options (up to 5) with context-aware analysis
- • Credit Balance: Check your remaining credit balance
- • Name Slot Switching: Switch between saved names (Individual accounts)
- • Bilingual Support: English and Malay (Bahasa Malaysia) language support
3.6.3 Credit Usage

Credit costs are identical to web application usage. Credits are deducted from your linked Astrix account balance.
3.6.4 Usage Restrictions
You may NOT:
- ❌ Share your linked Telegram account access with others
- ❌ Use automated bots or scripts to interact with the Astrix Telegram bot
- ❌ Attempt to bypass rate limits or abuse the service
- ❌ Use the bot for spam, harassment, or malicious purposes
- ❌ Reverse engineer or attempt to extract the bot's internal logic
- ❌ Create multiple Telegram accounts to circumvent restrictions
3.6.5 Data Handling via Telegram
When using the Telegram Bot:
- (a) Your Telegram User ID is stored to maintain account linking
- (b) Message content (names for analysis) is processed but not permanently stored
- (c) Analysis results are subject to the same retention policies as web application data
- (d) Telegram may independently collect data per their Privacy Policy
3.6.6 Service Availability
The Telegram Bot Service is provided on an "as available" basis. We do not guarantee:
- • 24/7 availability or uptime
- • Compatibility with all Telegram versions or platforms
- • Continued availability of specific features
- • Response times or processing speeds
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Telegram Bot Service at any time without prior notice.
Unlinking & Termination
- • You may unlink your Telegram account at any time via the /unlink command or web application
- • Account termination (web) automatically terminates Telegram access
- • Violation of these terms may result in immediate Telegram access revocation
- • Credits are non-refundable regardless of Telegram access status
4 Service Outputs & User Responsibilities
4.1 Nature of Outputs
Astrix generates assessments ("Output") by applying pre-defined, deterministic analytical frameworks to your Input. Outputs are automated and generated without human review.
4.2 No Professional Advice
Outputs are for informational and educational purposes only and do NOT constitute:
- ❌ Legal, financial, medical, tax, or professional advice
- ❌ Recommendations or endorsements
- ❌ Warranties or guarantees of accuracy, completeness, or suitability
4.3 User Responsibility for Outputs
You acknowledge and agree that:
- (a) You are solely responsible for evaluating all Outputs
- (b) You will independently verify all Outputs before making decisions
- (c) You will not rely on Outputs as a substitute for professional advice
- (d) Any decisions based on Outputs are at your own risk
- (e) Astrix2u has no liability for your use or reliance on Outputs
5 Beta Disclaimers & Warranties
5.1 "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" – NO WARRANTIES
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASTRIX2U EXPRESSLY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING:
- (a) Implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose
- (b) Accuracy or reliability of Outputs or assessments
- (c) Error-free operation – bugs and errors may exist
- (d) Uninterrupted availability – downtime may occur
- (e) Data integrity – data may be lost or corrupted
- (f) Security – no system is fully secure
- (g) Future availability – Service may be discontinued
- (h) Credit value – Credits may become unusable
5.2 Beta-Specific Risks
By using the beta Service, you expressly acknowledge and accept:
- • Bugs and errors may produce inaccurate or nonsensical Outputs
- • Features may be incomplete, unstable, or removed without notice
- • Data loss or corruption may occur – do not use for critical data
- • Service interruptions or permanent discontinuation may occur
- • No support obligations – no guaranteed bug fixes or updates
- • No uptime guarantees – no SLA for beta services
5.4 Data Backup Obligation
YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR BACKING UP ANY DATA YOU PROVIDE TO THE SERVICE.
Astrix2u has no obligation to store, protect, back up, or recover any User data. Data may be deleted at any time.
6 Limitation of Liability
6.1 Exclusion of Consequential Damages
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ASTRIX2U SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING:
- • Loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities
- • Loss of data, information, or content
- • Business interruption or downtime
- • Reputational harm
- • Damages from reliance on Outputs
- • Loss of credits due to expiration or Service discontinuation
6.2 Liability Cap
Total aggregate liability shall not exceed the greater of:
- (a) Total fees paid in the 12 months preceding the claim; OR
- (b) RM 100 (Malaysia) / £100 (UK) / USD 100 (other jurisdictions)
6.3 Mandatory Carve-Outs
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:
- (a) Death or personal injury caused by gross negligence or willful misconduct
- (b) Fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
- (c) Any liability that cannot be excluded by law
7 Indemnification
7.1 Your Indemnification Obligation
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Astrix2u from any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses arising from:
- (a) Your use or misuse of the Service or Outputs
- (b) Your breach of these Terms
- (c) Your Input that infringes third-party rights
- (d) Any decisions or actions based on Outputs
- (e) Your violation of third-party rights
- (f) Your negligence or willful misconduct
- (g) Unauthorized chargebacks or payment disputes
- (h) Multiple accounts or Welcome Credit abuse
8 Intellectual Property
8.1 Astrix2u's IP
The Service, including all software, algorithms, designs, trademarks, logos, and content, is and remains the exclusive property of Astrix2u. These Terms do not transfer any ownership rights.
8.2 User Input
You retain ownership of your Input. By providing Input, you grant Astrix2u a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze Input solely to provide and improve the Service.
8.3 Feedback License
If you provide feedback, suggestions, or ideas, you grant Astrix2u a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free, fully sub-licensable license to use, modify, and commercialize Feedback without compensation.
9 Data & Privacy
9.1 Privacy Policy & Data Processing
Our collection, use, protection, and retention of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms.

Note: Transactional emails (account verification, password reset, credit expiry reminders, security alerts) cannot be unsubscribed as they are necessary for service delivery.
We comply with Malaysia PDPA, UK GDPR, and CAN-SPAM Act requirements for email marketing. Unsubscribe requests are processed immediately.
9.3 Automated Decision-Making Notice
IMPORTANT:
Astrix generates Outputs through fully automated processing without human intervention. If you are in the UK or Malaysia, you have the right to request human review of assessments.
9.4 Data Retention & Deletion
Given the beta nature: we may delete most User data at any time; we have no obligation to retain or return data; back up any critical data externally.
10 Term, Termination & Suspension
10.2 Termination Rights
Either party may terminate at any time, for any reason or no reason, with or without notice.
Grounds for immediate termination include: breach of Terms, misuse or abuse, multiple account creation, chargeback filing, legal/safety concerns.

Credits Forfeited Upon Termination
ALL CREDITS (WELCOME AND PURCHASED) ARE IMMEDIATELY FORFEITED UPON ACCOUNT TERMINATION, regardless of reason, balance, or amount paid. NO REFUNDS.
11 Confidentiality (Closed Beta)
If participating in a closed beta, you agree that the Service, its features, and non-public information are Confidential Information. You agree not to disclose without prior written consent.
Public Beta Exemption: If offered as an open/public beta, this section does not apply.
12 Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
12.1 Governing Law
Malaysia Users
Governed by laws of Malaysia. Courts of Kuala Lumpur have exclusive jurisdiction.
UK Users
Governed by laws of England and Wales. Courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
Other Jurisdictions: Governed by laws of Malaysia (Astrix2u's place of incorporation).
12.2 Dispute Resolution
Before formal proceedings, parties agree to attempt good-faith negotiation for 30 days.
13 General Provisions
13.1 Entire Agreement
These Terms and Privacy Policy constitute the entire agreement.
13.2 Severability
Invalid provisions will be modified or severed; remaining provisions continue.
13.3 No Waiver
Failure to enforce does not constitute waiver.
13.4 Assignment
You may not assign without consent. We may assign freely.
13.5 Modifications to Terms
We may update Terms at any time by posting revised Terms with updated date. Continued use constitutes acceptance.

14 UK Consumer Rights Act 2015

Right to Supply of Digital Content
Digital content must be: of satisfactory quality, fit for purpose, and as described.
Remedies for Faulty Digital Content
You may be entitled to repair/replacement (first 6 months) or price reduction/refund if repair fails.
Exception for Beta/Free Services
Rights are limited for: free services, nominal consideration, and beta software clearly marked as such.
Express Waiver of 14-Day Cancellation Right
By purchasing credits, you acknowledge digital content is supplied immediately and waive your right to cancel under Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
15 Malaysia Consumer Protection Act 1999
For Users in Malaysia
No Refund Policy Disclosure
Our "no refund" policy is valid because:
- 1. You are informed BEFORE purchase
- 2. Credits are digital/virtual goods excluded from mandatory refunds
- 3. Policy is clear and conspicuous
Unfair Contract Terms
Our Terms are designed to be fair: limitations are reasonable for beta nature and pricing; carve-outs exist for fraud and gross negligence.
16 Acknowledgment & Acceptance
By using Astrix, you acknowledge that you have:
- Read and understood these Terms of Service in full
- Read and understood the Privacy Policy
- Understood that credits are non-refundable for any reason
- Understood that credits expire based on purchase amount and date
- Understood that Astrix is beta software with no warranties
- Understood the limitations of liability and risk allocation
- Agreed to be legally bound by these Terms
If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
